We're Off To See The Wizard!This is going to be a LONG one!
Things I've done over the past few weeks?
-> Went to Toronto's Annual Zombie Walk!
-> Created the cover for our school paper
-> Lost my IDs and passes...But got them back!
-> Celebrated Halloween hardcore!
The zombie walk was great! I should probably upload some of the great pictures I got there. something pretty wicked happened...Where the guy who runs the walk proposed to the chick who runs the walk. It was absolutely adorable - especially the 300 zombies that went "AWWWW" as soon as he got on one knee. Very original idea. I'm sure not many people can have a zombie propose to them.
The cover for our paper was a crazy process. It took me over two weeks, but I got it done. Jesus, I had so many issues with it, but considering it was my first time, I think I did pretty darn swell. The only complaints I got were from our coordinator...I mean, I guess you could call them that.
Oh boy! I lost my card holder with almost all of my most important things in it. It contained my monthly Metropass, my TTC ID, my school ID, my beloved Toronto Zoo membership, and a bunch of special transfers from special days I had.
The process of finding it still confuses me. A janitor found it, gave it to a girl in my grade, who gave it to my friend, who gave it to another friend, who gave it to me! It totally made my weekend though...Thank you to ALL who worked at getting it back to me.
This year's Halloween, or should I say Hallowe'en, was the shit. Seriously. I carved a pumpkin for the second time in my life - the first being two weeks ago, I dressed up at school as a zombie with my pals, I bought this all out werewolf costume, volunteered and got hours,trick-or-treated for the first time in four years, made a kid cry, made a kid scream and run, and made two guys my age practically wet themselves.
Oh,. and the title of this journal goes out to the person who thought my friends and I were characters from the Wizard of Oz. Odd, because we were a witch, rag doll, pirate, and werewolf!
